I use RL15 and Rl22. I have Winchester powder loads for the 15 and IMR 7828 or IMR 4350 for the Rl22. Next I will be trying VV for the magnums
What what powder do you switch to because alliant has shut down manufacturing

I had RL 7 - have lots of IMR 4198 to use. I have enough 17,19, 22 to last a long time….but could scrape something together to substitute for them.
For light loads in several rifles with cast or heavy jacketed bullets….90+ pounds of 50 BMG surplus powder.
If things get bad, I have enough Bullseye to assemble 21.5K rounds of lightload 38 Specials.
I just wish I had enough primers to ignite all of that!

Hornady has been saying that's why their ammo speeds are not reaching advertised speeds they cant get powders they were designed with, so they are using slower but accurate powders instead of just not making ammo. It's just going to get worse before its better, if it ever gets better. I have stopped trying this, that and the other thing. I'm sticking with my already worked up loads, bullets and calibers. Sold about 11 guns and down to basics for hunting and self-defense. I have enough in stock to last the rest of my life for that purpose.
I have a couple of pounds. Plan on testing it with 140 and 156 Bergers in the 6.5-300.jon you have any 33, I made the switch also. 33 is good medicine for the Big
Weatherbys and Ultra Mags.

It's the war in urakrane all the powder goes there .It's 65 pounds of powder every time they shoot a artillery shell .I was told that buy 4 ammo supply companies on the internet .

I have 12 lbs of RL-26 and 26 lbs of RL-23. I'll keep using what I have until it's gone. If it ever comes back by then, I'll grab more - but for now, I think I'm set!
You gonna need more barrels before that pile gets roasted!

I have had the worse luck with Hornady brass ammo and bullets and dies .They should make way better ammo and reloading supplies than they do .The 405 win brass I got from them was junk so was the 375 jdj brass .I can't even reload alot of their 308 match brass .I quit buying everything they make except xtp pistol bullets .
You are not alone. I will use their bullets for cheap fun, never again will I buy their brass or loaded ammo
