What rifles you guys running for varmint hunting?

Lot's of 22s, but my favorite is custom Ruger 77 chambered in 22-243 Middlestead. 1-9 twist. 55 gr out the muzzle @ 4100. 5 shots in same hole @ 100 yds

rkb21:
What bullets you using, twist and loads in your 6.5x284? What varmints you shooting?

Were building 6.5x284, but for target with 1:8 - 30" - 1.25" tube and using 142 SMKs.

We also have 6.5mm - 123 SMK, 130 TMK, 140SGK for our .260 Rem 1:8 with 26" heavy Bartlein and they all shoot the same POI @ 100yds, just worked out with the powder loads. Shoots < 1/4".

Our Varmint rifles are .223 RRA and .204. Ruger 77 Mark II target.
Might also use Jill's 6mm 1:7, 30", 1.25" tube (still building waiting for a MPA Pro Matrix
Chassis)

It's tuff getting older I just had both my knees replaced and a small surgery on my arm. I've been designated as camp cook for this season.

I'm kinda fussy about my varmit guns=they have to go bang!
Favorite 20cal is a Savage tactical in 20ppc (39 grain Sierra)
Favorite 22lr is a gray Ruger 77/22
Favorite 22cal is the 223 i have in my hands at the time. CZ527, Savage or one of the ARs
Favorite 6mm is the old Savage J action in 243 but the only Remington I own in 6-284 is an honorable mention.
Favorite 6.5 is an Anderson/BCA barreled AR in Grendel or the CZ527 in Grendel.
The old tang Ruger 77 in 7 mag has been known to take a prairie dog here and there with 160 grain partitions.......hey dont laugh its a little spendy but fun!
My leading coyote getter is the T3 Tikka altralite in 30-06 shooting the 168 Amax.

So, not myself but my Dad. Being a dairy farmer out getting hay. Not a rifle.
I have watched him on 3 separate occasions get the tractor in park, come flying off with hammer in hand. Chunk the hammer and nail a wood chuck every time. He throws a mean snowball too. Lol at least he did 30 years ago.

I'll toss my varmint killers in the ring:

.22 Cal Air rifle
.223/5.56 --- 5 different AR's
.220 Swift
6mm ARC
.243 Win.
6.5 Grendel (my wolf rifle)
6.5 PRC, and for really tough larger varmints:
30-378 Bee slingin a 124g Hammer Hunter @ about MACH 78.3 🤣🤣🤣

Well, since everyone is posting groups here are a couple. Both of these are from factory rifles!

My Weatherby Super Varmint Master in .243 Win. I ABSOTULEY love this rifle!!! Not too bad for factory ammo and rifle.

Next group is from my VERY first (purchased by me) rifle. A tang safety Ruger M77v in .220 swift. She is a safe queen now but if I had a dollar for every squirrel, crow, yote, or marmot, hell I'd go down to the Ford dealer and order me a new Tremor Super Duty!!! This group is .188 and it's 3 @ 100

Here is another AR yote slayer, my wolf rifle in 6.5 Grendel, I'll have to look for group photos but she'll shoot in the high .3's all day!
