Sound like you like the rush! nothing wrong with that, thanks Cheers.rifles got way too easy to use and not challenging. Nothing better than shooting a full charge elephant at 12 yards or a groundhog/fox at 4-500 yards with a handgun.

I have never seen a groundhog in a tree ***??? The wife and I were headed up to Riggins once on the dirt two tracks and seen about 6 goats in a tree, I dang near wrecked the truck! I got so tickled at my wife, it struck her so funny she could hardly catch her breath!!!In centerfires, a couple of 204's, a 22 CM, a 243 AI and a 6 CM.
I'm fire-forming brass on a newly built 20x47 Lapua with a 90% load but it shoots well enough doing so that I've taken it to 725 on steel, with first round impact on a 10" plate. Hit about 8 o'clock, made a hold correction and center punched it with the 2nd shot.
I figured I'd test it on fur and believe it's going to perform like I wanted on fox and bobcats. This woodchuck was taken at 142 yds above the end of the red container, the round must of scared him to death - I found no entrance, exit nor sign of blood.
I guess the Glock 26 counts, too. I dispatched this one here, 10' from my dog kennel.
What twist? I have a 1:9 I haven't done any load work, but was thinking about that bullet specifically.22-250 slinging 75 ELDM at 3350
Not the same bullet but I shoot the 77 TMK and 77 SMK out of my 1/9 22cm at just over 3400 and they do great. What twist? I have a 1:9 I haven't done any load work, but was thinking about that bullet specifically.
Have you tried an 80gr bullet with your 1:9 twist? I think my next 22 creed barrel will have a 1:9Not the same bullet but I shoot the 77 TMK and 77 SMK out of my 1/9 22cm at just over 3400 and they do great.
