Ruger 77/22 22 Hornet 40 gr@2900
Remington 700 Stainless Syn 17 Rem 20gr (can't find 25's)
Savage 116 stainless syn 204 32 gr
TC Encore stainless PH 204 32 gr
TC encore Stainless PH 223 55gr
Armalite AR 223 HB 55gr
Savage 112 22/250 55 gr
Remington 700 CDL 243 65Gr
Ruger #1 Stainless laminated 243 65gr
I think you need a couple more! 😂

25-06 with a 70gr blitzking moving out of a 26' preferred barrel blanks 10tw around 3640fps does pretty good on predators out to 500yds. With a 200yd zero you just hold on hair out to 400yds or put your horizontal cross hair level with the top of the animal at 500yds. Does wicked things to small hogs as well 😎

But if I build another "varmint" rifle it will be a 22-250
That is quite the barrel! 😂

I've settled on a Savage LRP (right bolt/left port) which used to be in 204 Ruger but I cut it down to 20" and rechambered in 20 VT. 17.2g of H4198 and 35g Berger FB gives me consistent 1/4"@100yd groups. Hits hard but doesn't tear up pelts. If my reach is way out I use a Savage Model 12BVSS 28" Bartlein in 22-250. Here's the lil Vartarg

I'll toss my varmint killers in the ring:

.22 Cal Air rifle
.223/5.56 --- 5 different AR's
.220 Swift
6mm ARC
.243 Win.
6.5 Grendel (my wolf rifle)
6.5 PRC, and for really tough larger varmints:
30-378 Bee slingin a 124g Hammer Hunter @ about MACH 78.3 🤣🤣🤣

Well, since everyone is posting groups here are a couple. Both of these are from factory rifles!

My Weatherby Super Varmint Master in .243 Win. I ABSOTULEY love this rifle!!! Not too bad for factory ammo and rifle.

Next group is from my VERY first (purchased by me) rifle. A tang safety Ruger M77v in .220 swift. She is a safe queen now but if I had a dollar for every squirrel, crow, yote, or marmot, hell I'd go down to the Ford dealer and order me a new Tremor Super Duty!!! This group is .188 and it's 3 @ 100

Here is another AR yote slayer, my wolf rifle in 6.5 Grendel, I'll have to look for group photos but she'll shoot in the high .3's all day!

Last one, Marmot getter, this is a .223 Wylde chambered Lothar Walther 20" bbl. Shoots lights out!!!

I gotta say, I've never heard of anyone running the 125'ish bullets out of this cartridge, I've had mine since 2001 just haven't ran them to see. Did you get a good group with them ? Nice bobcat by the way, very cool.

I absolutely agree, I have both. The 10/22 was my first purchase in 1990, and I have a M77 MKII in .233 that I bought in 92 and still use both of them today. You can never go wrong with that combo.
The thing about those 2 cartridges is there is almost always ammo on the shelf and just about anyone from the age of 6-7 can shoot them. They are just handy to have around.

I think you need a couple more! 😂
I hear ya😀 an occasional crow gets blasted, & sometimes a coyote gets called in. Mostly these shoot paper or for blasting old cans of vegetables or whatever because high speed blows em up so awesomely 😀👍👍 not many coyotes up here in Timberwolf country
