What magnum caliber

The 338RUM is my go to hunting gun. Always wanted a 338- 378 Weatherby, but hard to find brass and it's spendy to shoot. The 338 Chey tac is a true beast. The Norma 300 IMP or the 338 Norma is the direction I will go in the future.

My first custom, a 28 nosler, should be finished by the end of the week. Now I'm already wanting to start another. If so I'll part ways with current gun to fund it. But, as the title states what calibers would yall recommend. I think I'd like a 30 cal. But open to all options. I tend to lean towards the hotter rounds.

I have two 300 RUM's and enjoy them greatly, but a 300NMI is a great round. However, you can do a lot with just a 300WM. If you aren't completely set on a 30 cal, then the 338LM or 338RUM reaches out with good authority.

Brass is easy, not difficult to find at all.
Spendy factory ammo, absolutely. For reloading not terrible at all. It's a beast of a cartridge.

Just to be that guy, I suggest the boring old 300 Weatherby.

Gotta say nothing boring about it.. I have my two dream rifles both are Weatherby 6.5-300 and 300 WBY Mag. I have been asking myself what to do with the one just gifted, me do I change to a different cartridge or work with what he built. Hmmm.. Gotta love those 30 Mags

300 NMI would be pretty sweet.
A 7-300 NMI would be pretty cool also. 190gr A-tips at 3250 FPS gonna be really hard to beat.
