safety MUST be paramount. My dad has had mules for hunting elk/deer for decades. One rule we have is NEVER carry a chambered rifle in the scabbard. Too **** easy to get excited and pull the rifle out by the trigger. My dads partner lost a mile that way hunting with one of his sons.A lot of my one time groups were no better than drunken frat boys.
There's a reason none of them were ever allowed back and most left mad when they didn't get a refund after violating my safety agreement.
I have friends I refuse to go shooting with because they're just too damned careless. Good friends, but my life is still valuable.
