What am I Missing 6.5x284

Man about 10 years ago I was watching Best Of The West and J Winters shot a Elk at 978 yds and jumped up and said the long range hunter did it again, This is our new 6.5x284 Norma, I called him up and ask him about a build, He told me about a Broughton barrel 1-8 twist 5c ,Remington action ,Timney trigger and made my own stock. Today my longest kill is with that 6.5 is 918 yds couple in the 800's a bunch in the 5-600's, This gun shoots 140 vld hunting bullet 1'' group at 400 yds. So needless to say you have started off with a Monster Winner you will not be disappointed at all.

Just getting started on a 6.5x284 with…
Manners LRH LA stock
Nightforce NX8 2.5-20x50
Nightforce Ultralight rings
Benchmark Sendero 1:8
BAT Vampire Action
MisceLandon's bullets (156 EOLs coming)

WHAT AM I MISSING?
You are off to a great start. The H4350 is a winner, and H4831, and possible H1000 you can't go wrong. Those powders are very temp stable.

Thanks for the encouragement and all the great load data. I do have 5 pounds of RETUMBO I could try. I'm getting some H1000 and I am dangerously low on H4350, just went below 25 pounds.

I would like an hinged floor plate smooth looking bottom metal, not a detachable bottom magazine. I don't really know how that fits up to the stock I have. Need help from my gunsmith on that issue.

I really appreciate the help guys!

48.48 gr H4350 always shot well for me, using Sierra 142's. Just could not get H4831SC to work in my gun. Reloder 26 showed promise, but I never followed up on it.
Warning-hot load for Lapua brass only.
