I'll be switching to 7-08 AI someday.
Thought about it, but don't know if all the fireforming is worth the 100 fps more, maybe it is. I haven't decided on my next rebarrel yet, but the AI is in my mind.
Thanks for keeping me honest. 308win, might have helped if I would have mentioned it. duh.Asking about 308win or ad in 30cal?
I'm not pushing them, but try looking at Ammoseek. The search engine. Sometimes you can get a few good deals from them.Well, no shert shitlock!
What powder are you using for the 155 and 175? Ive been using IMR4064 for 175 at the moment @ 45.0. Still wringing it out.155 palma does it for me in 308win AR10. For m118 chamber going the extra 30 thou I'll go up to 175 and 180's o use jugg 185. The weights change velocity that dictates the distance I'll be shooting at. I don't want to be at 25 to 2600fps going over 500 yard. Just my preference.
Depends on the gun used. I haven't nailed it down yet, but so far cfe223 and ar-comp for 155's. 175-180's is tac and working on some with vv550. IMR4064 is a serious versatile powder! Other powders I'm going to check out are big game and hunter along with 555 (might be my next 270win powder of choice). When I do load test I'll load 10x10 and take 4 guns to test in. 10 cartridges at interval charges from mid to low high (close to max) so it gives me 100 rounds (20 rounds per gun of each charge). All are color coded with a sharpie. That leaves 2 per charge for further testing if needed. RL19 is to slow, but need RL17 in these categories. I have 15.5, but might be to fast? I think it's between 15 and 16 with volume closer to 16?What powder are you using for the 155 and 175? Ive been using IMR4064 for 175 at the moment @ 45.0. Still wringing it out.
Decisions decisions. Don't you love coming up with sharpie color schemes? Gets real colorful quick. I need more colors to choose from.Depends on the gun used. Sometimes 2 colors look almost the same. I'll do 1 stripe or a combo of 2 colors parallel or crossing each other. Yellow is the worst next to orange and light blue.Decisions decisions. Don't you love coming up with sharpie color schemes? Gets real colorful quick. I need more colors to choose from.

The main reason why I haven't purchased 168 TMK's is the cost. I'm concentrating my funds towards my new 260 AI build so the 308 Win is on the back burner. I've been feeding the 308 Win (PSS) 2nd's or blem bullets for years. The 168 ELDM's were the cheapest bullets up until a couple of years ago. I'll get some 168 TMK's the next time they are on sale. I hear they work pretty good for hunting. I'll test them on coyotes.Ever used 168 tmk?
