Yup! All barrels burn out. Try and buy. Get 1 pound a check it out. I'd be curious to know what the round count was on the 2 barrels that one poster said did burn out. I would also like to see barrel scope pictures to see the damage. I use N540 and N550 on both hunting and target use. But I don't use it all the time. My experience tells me that it works OK for hunting use. Does squeeze every drop of fps out. For target use, I use it for heavy for caliber in 308win. It can be picky, so I have tried lots of bullets.Sir, you keep telling me to "do my homework" but I must avail you to my hard & proven method of "Fool Around And Find Out!"
BTW. If you shoot enough, barrels are consumables!
