What’s happening? 22-250??

good to hear you got it figured out

id like to hear specifically what thier findings were ..

the seating die was catching "what" .. the sleeve ??

and what kind of "problem" did the seating stem have

did they make you pay for replacement parts , and claim operator error or just replace and sweep under the rug

I could see that, especially with soft varmint bullets. I had that happen with standard RCBS dies with 40 grain v-max pills in both a .223 and a 22-250, not to that extent, but it did leave a small dent in the bullet where the seating stem was at. After 5,000+ rounds, sometimes equipment wears out and needs replaced, as yours obviously did. Glad to hear it was squared away.

Redding was great to deal with.. Even though I had put some miles on the equipment they replaced for free.

The seating stem was not able to slide fully into the the sleeve was what the Tech told me.. Just great to be back shooting.. I had to pull all those bullets and start all over with the brass.. Crossing my fingers that doesn't pop up again.. Thanks for all your help Gents!
