traveling with firearms questions

I fly every month with Firearms. Do NOT use TSA locks. Use your own. I never have any problems at the airports. They will inspect your firearms in the case without touching them and watch you place your orange declaration card in the box then you lock it. I sometimes have 36 handguns and 6 long guns in 2 pelican cases. No problems other than wheeling them in and out of the airport along with my carry-on, which is a chore to say the least...

Doesn't hurt to throw another set of locks in your case in the event they cut the originals off. I do that with a note attached. I also zip tie the case eyelets with heavy gauge zip ties.
