I believe all Q Nelsons are cut for the Q/SIG 5/8-24 taper mount.
Ripped from an old ARFCOM thread:
I'd run it and not worry about it. Q sells it as 5/8x24 compatible. I used to run an ATS tuner behind several suppressors, that functionally reduced the length of thread engagement but I didn't have any issues. I still run the tuner behind a brake that's somewhat short threaded, still haven't had any issues.
