All the pics are from an explosion last Thanksgiving I kept forgetting to get it in the fridge. 1st time it ever blew up on me, I got gun shy and lost my bottle stash. Back in the saddle again.

I did end up wrapping. One inch of apple juice in a pan, covered.

I crutch mine. It works for me

As a follow-up, it was very good, but the last one I think was better, LOL. The only thing I did different was rub it with honey mustard and wrapped it at about 185. Came from the same meat market, same rubs, and same pellets. Started at 1130pm last night, pulled it at about 4pm today to rest, can't remember drank a fair bit today. O well, until next time.

I just got back from a week in Austin, Texas and the only barbecue place (Franklin'BBQ) I wanted to go to was closed due to their summer vacation. That's just my luck, so I'll make my own today.

Two different racks, both with my peach glaze, however, (L) had AP and regular BBQ rub, (R) Texas brisket rub and hot BBQ rub.

Also smoked some snow crab. Not bad but a lot of work for minimal return!

Sams club had Kingsford Chefs blend (hickory, cherry, and oak) pellets on sale the other day so I picked up a few. 35lb bags for 16$. Anxious to try them out.
