Is there a difference between the Tula brand and the Wolf brand? What is your experience with them? I use the Tula brand but I have heard they are the same. Your comments on the two is?

Thanks in advance. ........ SEMPER FI ......... SARGESNIPER

I fought for American soil and support American jobs. I would use a bow and arrow before I bought that CH!T.

I would bet that you are buying non American products and do not realize it. Most of the clothing we buy these days are made far from our shores to name one. I will buy what works for me.

I am also a war vet and understand where you are coming from but lets face it, that was then and this is now. I have tried to put that behind me and move on. I was sent to Viet Nam because I volunteered for service and got caught up in the war. Never wanted to go but it was my duty to do so. I have no animosity toward anyone.

You have the right to not buy anything you choose. That is one of the things we fought for, right?
Freedom of choice or just plain Freedom is the key word here. I appreciate your input for what it is worth. Thanks,

Wolf Primers seems to be an American product. Here is their website:

WOLF Performance Ammunition - Home
I read somewhere that they were made in the same plant as the Tula were made. I was only trying to see if someone noticed a difference in the two. As far as being American goes, hardly anything we buy today is 100% American. Clothing, Cars, Food. You go out and buy a Chevy, Ford, Dodge, not 100% American like it was in the past. Clothing, Shri Lanka, Philippines, Viet Nam, China, and may be more. Hardly anything is completely American made any more. I cannot see where buying a Russian Primer is taking an American out of a job. If anything it is providing a job for some. They ship and we receive. Someone has to unload, someone has to take possession, distribute, ship to dealers and then sell. The more I think about it, seems like a lot of jobs are created rather than taken. Or am I wrong?

Not trying to be political on this. Just want answers to my OP.

Anyway, Thanks for your reply. ... SEMPER FI ........ SARGESNIPER

Well said Sargesniper. Freedom rules.

Thanks , I did not expect to offend anyone, nor in a round about way, be accused of taking a job from anyone. Many people shoot the Wolf and Tula Primers. I only want to see if others have found a difference or not.

We all make choices every day of our lives. That is one of the freedoms we still have and I am grateful for that.

I won't use either. They area colder primer. Lots of guys have hangfires or misfires with them. Especially with slow burning powders. Lots of match shooters use them. Go to 6 BR and ask that question. You will get more answers. Matt

Thanks Matt, I used the Tula brand with H-4831 in my .260 and had great results with them and no
FTF. Makes me wonder if I am doing something different or I had a good lot. Hoping it is what I am doing.
I will check out the web site and ask my question there as I have not had any luck here. I thought this was the best site as there are a lot of shooters here that strive for accuracy as much as I do. Maybe I was wrong in my assumption. Thanks for your info.

There is an issue with the KVB556M igniting ball powders in low temps, 40F and lower.

Other than that, in my experience, Tula KVB762 are some of the best primers out there are far as producing the lowest SD and ES, comparable to CCI BR2s.

Their KVB45M has worked unfailingly in 41 and 44 loads down to sub-freezing. No problems.

Thanks Bill, you are the first to step up to the plate. I used Tula in my .260 with H-4831 and Superformance as well with no ftf issue. that is one reason I asked about the two Primers. Have you used both? If so is there a difference? I am having a problem with finding the TULA brand right now.
I want to buy 5000 of them. (I shoot 200 + rounds every range session )

Federal 210M and CCI BR2s offer similar performance but the Tulas tend to have harder cups so proper, consistent full depth seating becomes a little more important. Uniform pockets and you should be GTG.

With the SR primer cartridges, I'm only shooting 5.56/223 and no ball powders but use the KVB223M anyway.

I don't see anyone with LR in stock either. They were at Powder Valley, IIRC, 2 or 3 weeks ago. Check GunBot.
