Rifle cartridge build ideas?

If can't remember ever seeing a 7x55 (necked up 6.5x55) .22 vaits is the only wildcat I can think of comming of this case.
Blown out a little and call it the 7x55 ackley and it should be a hype right away.

FWIW I'm running a Valkyrie on an unmodified 7.62X39 bolt face in a 1500 Mini. No issues, with the case offset as far as possible away from the extractor it can not be pried loose in any direction except towards the extractor.

Yes, bought it as a 7.62X39 barreled action. Mags even feed unmodified.

Thinking on this further, given that the .30 Rem case head is smaller than the 7.62x39 case head I don't see the case capacity exceeding that of the Grendel case. That might kill the idea on the spot.

The SPC I ruled out simply because of that darn odd bolt face. I have opened up savage bolts for it but once you turn that bolt face it's committed to the spc family. I'd rather just have the standard 308 case head.
The .378 bolt face takes 10 minutes to open up to the +- .422 in a lathe. The bolt heads are relatively cheap. Everybody should have a couple laying around. My Axis will be going from .223 to 6.8 SPC, and back whenever I want it to.

First forming steps. L to R. 6.5 creed, first neck form, 6 BR Norma, 6.5 Grendel

I'm still researching between what's available and what I can build. I was playing with a creedmoor case by pushing the shoulder down. I have to start machining now if I want to squeeze it more without collapsing the shoulder. The 7 on a GT size is where I'm at
