Rangefinder binos vs hand held Rangefinder

I also use the Sig Kilo 3000. I used to use a Gunwerxs BR2 (gen1) but decided to go with the Kilo 3000 to avoid having to carry both a range finder and binoculars. Weight for two items was one issue but didn't like having to switch between two devices either. The ballistics from both are pretty close for my applications. Using the phone app to generate and switch rifle/ammo profiles is easier with the Kilo. I also like the 10x power on the Kilo for range finding better than the 7x power that many stand alone range finders have.
I don't bow hunt but do some target shooting. If I did bow hunt I would use a separate small range finder instead of the range finding binoculars.

The ballistic engine in my zeiss victory rf spits out same dope as my kilo 2400abs, matches my shooter app, and kestrel elite 5700 on drops within an inch at 1000y. It does not Calc wind thou, or spin drift, if you zero your rifle 0.1 mil left at 100y, that pretty much eliminates spin drift.

I use the HDB 3000 and EL Ranges. I would never go back to seperate binos and rangefinder.
How do you like these if you have anymore input on them. I am so close to ordering. For me i am just starting to get I to the long range game even thiugh i am in NJ. But thinking about taking some courses in the future local to me on east coast. This would be my first piece of the puzzle for me. I also love the all in one bino and rf. Love all the input you get with this one device.

I use Sig Kilo 3000s and they're great. I've never used the native "AB-lite" that comes preloaded in them though since I always pair them with my Kestrel 5700. That combo has given me dope that's bang on out to 1600 yards so far in all my guns.

Hi, I use Leica Geovid to have a single tool always at hand.

I have a set of zeiss lrf binos, they're very nice, and the lrf is convenient. However tge lrf function isn't on the same level as my kilo 2400abs. Like not even close. Beginning to wonder if my Victory RF binos are duds.
First gen zeiss binos? I have the latest zeiss rfs and they are money. The 2400 abs is a good unit "owned one" but the zeiss should hang with them. I would have them looked at.

Yes they're the new victory rf 10x42, I may have to send em in. They do okay, but last 1200y or so they just have a hard time picking up the beam. If I run em on the outdoorsman tripod mount they do a little better. I do feel the kilo 2400abs has better long distance lrf performance. The glass in the binos is amazing tho.

Do the Kilo 3000's have the on board weather station like their 2400abs rangefinder?

I love my 2400abs rangefinder as it is super accurate and delivers accurate solutions quickly at long ranges.

No, the SIG does not have on-board sensors for temp, altitude, pressure etc.
