    So is the head a ball head or fluid? I looked and thought the VA-5's were fluid, I don't really know the difference.

    Ok, did you attach binos? What kind of attachment is needed for that. Also I see that it stretches to a little over 51", did you use it for glassing while standing?

    Just measured, and its 54" to top of base of head when extended all the way. I used it with Zeiss spotting scope w/angled eyepiece. Lent to another shooter to use, and came back without the adapter. He cannot find, and I cannot remember what make/model of adapter was on it. I haven't tried to find another attachment.
