Nice! Man that's a lot of powder. Probably a good combination considering LRT is pretty reasonable. If memory serves, it was an except able temp powder. Somewhere I found it's expected rate, might have been on westerns site. Might be worth a try to see if it reflects the same in your cartridge

I just read this whole tread, and now I want to try some in my 7 STW with 175gr or 180gr. Does anyone know where I can find a safe starting load? Thank you.

Should I just back down a couple grains to start?

I think the STW has a higher case capacity then the 28 Nosler. I'd probably start close to max.
NVM, don't do that.
From everything I've read and reviewed, they're super close in capacity. Owned both over the years. Different brands of brass would likely make the biggest difference in actual case volume.

I've only been reloading for just over a year.last year i was having problems shooting barns lrx 168 gr . I dropped down to 150 gr was able to get them to shoot. This year I put a limb saver to the barrel and bought a new break . Could not get any H1000 so switched to LRT now I'm able to get...

I was going to use the high velocity node in my 27" barrel, but I think may have time to re-test, and back it back down to the 87-87.4 node?!
