If I could, I would go back in time and kick the European sissy dude in the nuts that developed 6.5 cartridges and then come ahead a little into the future to kick Joyce Hornady's nuts so hard he couldn't breed the offspring that lets this stuff happen.

His offspring is making so much money off this you couldn't count it all!

Feenix, had both eyes done in 2012 and opted for far-sighted inner ocular lenses. Results were awesome with 20/15 far-sighted in both eyes. No glasses for scopes, binocs etc. Best thing I ever did. Just need cheap readers for close work.

But back to the thread, I won a Savage 6.5CM in March at a WTU dinner and it is still NIB. Guess that tells you how excited I was to get a 6.5CM. I tried to trade it there for a .300WSM but no can do. I have a .270, .243 and just don't have a need for the 6.5. My 300WM Sendero does fine LR and I like knowing whatever I hit with a 200 AB, 200 ELD-X or 215 Berger is likely not going to go too far.

I had LASIK done on the same left eye a few years ago. We'll see how it goes. I have a follow-up next week and see when the right is next. I opted for mono vision - left eye for distance and right eye for reading but I am left eye dominant but right handed. This means I have to wear contacts on my right for archery season for about month.

Speedy recovery Feenix !

Thanks! Still swollen but no pain.
