Official Hammer bullets Terminal Performance (picture heavy)

Another boring performance for Hammer Hunters, just the way I like them;) 200 yards/308 Winchester/152 HH/2800fps. Didn't even eject the empty after hearing the impact. Very large 7.5 year old whitetail went 16 yards with massive lung/liver damage. No bone hit and the exit was the size of a 50 cent piece with zero meat damage.

I have nothing against Hammers; I'm working some loads up on some right now. But all these pics in this thread don't show anything my 6.5x06 hasn't been doing with 120gr Nosler BTs for the past 40 years.
In response too you shooting 120 gr Nosler Ballistic Tips, my best hunting buddy and I both built 6.5-06s 1-8 twist 40 yrs ago and shot 120- gr Bt My friend knocked a big buck down , he liked the high shoulder shot , the buck got back on his feet and ran off , we looked for hours and never found anything . The difference you will find is you will get an exit 99 percent plus of the time ,and no worries of bullet blow up on shoulder shots . I now shoot Hammers .

I took another doe tonight with the 257 weatherby and the 90 absolute hammer. She was at 150 yards broadside. I tucked the shoulder tight and after the shot she went 50 yards on a death run. Lungs were destroyed. As per usual fashion with the hammer the entrance wound was larger than the exit. We got it on film, I'll post the video when it's ready.

Last week I shot a little South Carolina doe.
.22-250, 1:8" factory tikka.
70gr hammer hunter. 3,250fps MV. I can get up to nearly 3,500 but this node is unbelievably accurate. shot distance ~130y. Broadside, slightly quartering to. She made it about 40 yards. I was on the ground so shot was straight across a field. In the exit photo you can see where a couple of the fragments hit the inside of the ribcage and made holes. I found one fragment near the liver, then proceeded to lose it. Lungs were toast.

I shot a small yearling tonight for crop damage with a 51 absolute hammer out of my 1-12 twist 22-250. Muzzle velocity is 4090 fps I shot this one at 194 yards so impact velocity was 3325 fps according to my calculator.
The shot was quartering towards and I hit a touch behind the shoulder and it exited about the next to last rib. Slightly larger than caliber entrance and quarter sized exit hole. The usual shredded internals. I did find a petal on the inside of the ribs on the off side.
This is a successful test of a hammer at marginal stability according to the site so I can't recommend this bullet 100% in a 12 twist on game but I did work once. I'd like to see this test repeated a few times to confirm proper performance in my rifle.

I see somebody else likes Buck knives !
Dad got me that knife when I was a freshman in highschool. Lost the original sheath that folded over the top. A dog stole it! It is a bit short because I broke the tip off. Took a file to it and brought it to a new tip.

Have to add. That young man is now out of highschool and just became a father to a new baby girl!

Iv killed deer out to 450 yds with the 52hh in a 223wssm custom 12 twist. I help with alot of testing on the 22 cal hammers, the shorter 22s seem to be more forgiving on the twist rate than calculator say!
