New to 6.5 Creedmoor loading

FWIW. Loaded Nosler 140gr RDF's with Winchester 6.5 StaBall last week. Most accurate powder with 140's yet. It is my go-to powder now. Really impressed with this powder.
what kind of speed were you getting with it

Where are you getting your load data for RL26 in the 6.5 Creed? I checked Alliant webpage and do not see one using this powder.
Theres no official load data except for the 135 berger classic hunter. I ran a 140 up to 3014 with rl-26. Just start low and work up to pressure. Start down around 44 grains with a 140 if you wish to try it. I ran out of room and didnt pressure out in hornady brass. I highly reccomend the 140 eld and rl-16. Rl-16 has been the best powder I've tested. Stay away from rl-17. It produces great velocity and accuracy, but is not temp stable and has a tendency to eat throats

For those concerned about published loads the hogdon reloading site does not have a single 140gr recipe that starts or ends at 44gr in 6.5cm. Book loads aren't everything but they are there for a reason

H414 works great with 140 grain bullets.

Hammers (110 grain) shoot awesome to 600 yards. Haven't tried them any farther yet. Varget shoots them a little ove 3100fps in my 24 inch Tikka.

I just purchased my first Short action bolt rifle, I have a Bergara B14 HMR in 6.5 Creedmoor. All of my reloading has been with 28 Nosler and 7 Rem Mag, so I am behind on what powders are best for the 6.5 Creed. I did check my powder stock and see I have some IMR 4350 and H4831 some I must have purchased years ago, but that is all when it comes to faster burning powder. I have read that H4350 seems to be everyone go to powder for this cartridge, but wanted to see if another powder, something that is always readily available, that works great for this cartridge? I was looking to reload using 135gr Berger Classic and go up to 147gr as the largest size. I would appreciate if anyone could provide there loads that work great in this cartridge. I wish Berger and Hornady would do what Nosler and Hodgdon does and post reloading data on the different bullets they have.
Man I've got so much data on the 6.5 CM for that bergara B-14 HMR it isn't funny. (Well my bergara not yours ). I'm retired military. Love reloading and still looking for the unicorn bullet. I've LabRadar'd all my data so I'm sure you'd be within 10-15FPS of what I have. Feel free to PM questions. Currently I've tested 95,100,107,123,127,130,135,140x3,142,143,147& 160gr. Used Vihtavuori N160 and N133. Varget ( my favourite) H4350(best winter powder) staball6.5. (Pretty good all around& best metering) IMR 4064. BENCHMARK. IMR 3031. plus all the primers. Hornady, Peterson, alpha, and Barnes brass.

For my Berger's HMR I'm using Hornady ELDM 147 and reloader 16. Tried quite a few other's but this works great

Which powder was the most accurate for you? I understand H4350 is about like finding VV N570 in stock... I see StaBall is not temp sensitive and RL16 is the same and I do see those readily available.

On RL 16 ive got no expert opinion. Well, no opinion really on RL16. If you shoot a lot and can get your hands on staball 6.5. Buy the 8lbs jug. You won't regret it. It meters so well and accurate out of all 4 machines I have. ( 3manual and 1 auto ). Varget is awesome with the 142 SMK. But it really shines with the lighter bullets. 41.0-41.2 (2993 FPS@sea level) with a COL 2.710 for the 95gr VMAX.

40.0-40.2 (~2973 FPS @ sea level) with a COL of 2.765 for the 100gr ballistic tip.

mill post some more data when I can get to it. Honey do list awaits. Happy wife happy life ( I get to go shooting lol)
