New Rifle build Please tell me why I should or should not build a 25-06

Good 25-06 Proven killer. Finding components hasn't been too hard to find.
Bad not the most BC friendly design if you are looking for a long range build. I have looked up and down the chart for my build only to realize I have a good hunting caliber.

A little input I have a short action Savage that want to build a new Rifle. I have a .270, 300 wm, 6.5 cm
So I am thinking a 25-06 or a 22 creedmoor I reload so I will need to get brass and Bullets can brass be found for the 25-06?
the 270 and 300 win only 2 you need lol unless you just want another caliber

Build the 22 creedmoor. If you're going to reload anyways the 6mm creedmoor brass is an easy convert. The brass is cheaper and also the bullet selection for the .224 is honesty much much better. More grain selection and better match grade bullets.
If you didn't want to load it would be questionable but the 22 creedmoor has blown me away with the performance I've seen out of it.
My 2 cents

You'd need a magnum bolt face but a 6.5 saum or prc would be nice. Or neck them down to .25 for your short action.
