New reloader powders RL-23 and RL-26

I know where the data is located, Im just talking about having the actual powder listed on the website. The recipies for each powder is sure easier to navigate.

I got to try RL 26 in my 7STW and it was not good. RL 25 shoots little bug holes and RL 26 shot 3" groups at 100yds. Tried up and down to no avail.
In a 270 win it showed early presure signs at 2 gr below max with a 150 LRAB.
Crono showed 3175 FPS so I knew something was wrong. Should have been 3060 or so.
Brand new WW brass preped Went to reload and the primers are loose so load was too hot. Even though 2 grs below max. Accuracy was not good either.
Right now i have not had good luck with RL 26. RL 23 has not proven much better.
But not finished testing yet.
I hope other people are having better luck than I have with these new powders.

If powders have similar burn rate will they generally produce the same pressure curve for the same grain weight. Just curious. Reason being I was tring to find some load data for a 6.5x284 norma for reloaders 25. I see that IMR 7828 is almost exactally the same burn rate. And yes I know to start out low and work up but I have never seen any posted data for running RL25 in a 6.5. Thanks. I guess that also if it depends on its shape of the powder as well.

Well I answered my on question or somewhat answered my on question with some more web searching. Reloader Nest has some published data for RL25 used in the 6.5x284 norma.

Was thinking of using RL 26 in my 270 win, same bullet as you. Maybe not now. You use the data of the Allilent site?

Tried some 26 in my 7mag yesterday 66 gr with a 168 berger, shot about 1/2 moa but was a little warm. Will back off a 1/2 grain and see what it does.

I have been working with RL-26 with my 300 WSM using 215 gr Bergers. Built on a long action seated 2.51" to ogive. After a slow start I got it working with 68.2 gr, using Fed 210M primers and Norma brass. Just over .5 moa at 100 yards and just under a 5" group at 600 yards. Also had good luck shooting at milk jugs at 1000. I have decided to stick with it and found and purchased 2 8lb canisters so I don't run out.

How fast do you have the 210 moving with 68gr RE 26? I shoot 190 with 69gr Re 22 out of my 300WSM. I was thinking about trying 26 with my 190. I don't think I can get enough in the case.
