You guys inspire me.
This year will be my 1st try here in the west. I now live near Las Vegas and also now have a 6.5 CM Ruger American Predator with Timmy trigger and Boyd's laminated Classic stock. It's topped with a SWFA 3 - 15 x 42 FFP, mil/mil scope.
I have shot my 6.5 CM RPR competition rifle in PRS competition and some Varmint competitions so I know how to hold for wind at distance. The RAP gets 3/4" MOA average groups with 143 gr. Hornady ELD-X Precision Hunter ammo.

I'll be using my Bushnell ARC 10X laser rangefinder binoculars and consulting the 100 yard come-ups for my ammo taped to my stock.

We where out shooting rocks one fine afternoon and this gall walkt into view about a hundred yards farther out than Nathan had just made a 3" group at 1348yards
1457 yards is a long way out even for Wyoming. That is one fine Savage 300wsm he has and the load workup has been extensive. Good shooting, the 300 is starting to drop like a rock at that distance. Mine drops over 6' from 1500 to 1550. That's right! over 6' in 50 yards. Bullet 178 gr. Amax, Muzzle velocity average 3225 fps Happy new year. Again GREAT SHOT! That gun shooting a 3" group over 1300 yards, would probably give the world record 1000 group a run for its money. Don't know what the current record is. It was a little over 2" last I knew. That's been a few years ago.

This one had chased the deer away that I was looking to shoot at as she came up to my stand this year in Iowa.

That is a pretty coyote, but I still say " kill them all the **** deer eaters". May you kill many more in 2018. Thanks for the pic. That would be a nice one to have mounted.
