Wisconsin - 550 yards - 22-204 - 80 grain Bergers
OK I have a silly question but is there a difference in the 22-204 and the Ruger 204? I pretty new to all these wildcat rounds.Wisconsin - 550 yards - 22-204 - 80 grain Bergers
The 22-204 is just the Ruger 204 case necked up to 22 caliber with no other changes. Equal to or a hair more capacity than a 223 Ackley without having to fireform, neck up and and go.OK I have a silly question but is there a difference in the 22-204 and the Ruger 204? Thank you sir. I kinda like the looks of that 22 dasher. The 22-204 is just the Ruger 204 case necked up to 22 caliber with no other changes. Equal to or a hair more capacity than a 223 Ackley without having to fireform, neck up and and go.
And no, a 22-204 is not the same as a 222 Rem Mag, the shoulder is blown forward .070".
Here's a visual of the different 22 caliber cases for comparison:
221 FB - 222 - 223 - 223 AI - 222 RM - 22-204 - 22-204 w/80 VLD - 22 Dasher - 22x47 Lapua
How did that ELD X do expansion wise?770 yards with 6.5 creedmoor shooting 143 eldx handloads 2620 fps. Bad picture as we had to hurry to get to an appointment. Live in Idaho and wasn't calling today but this female showed at 300 and took off finally stopped at 770 and tikka t3x took care of the rest.
I didn't skin or gut it so not sureHow did that ELD X do expansion wise?
