Large rifle primer availability?

I have been looking for months. Placed my email to be notified with a number of large sites and not a peep. There is great availability of small rifle and pistol primers but no large rifle anywhere. Anyone have knowledge of what is going on? with the buy out of Federal I wonder what the future holds for availability and quality going forward.

Watch Brunos.com. They get LR in on a regular basis. Buy the CCI #34 in 5000 case. Last I bought came out at $85.00 per 1000 shipping, hazmat the works Just keep looking. I know laying out $400.00 plus is painful. But you can shoot for a while, and they are not going to get cheaper.

I was in the same boat recently, scouring sites and waiting for notifications, but it seemed like only small rifle and pistol primers were in stock everywhere. It's tough with the Federal buyout looming; changes like that can shake up availability for sure. Maybe keep checking local stores or smaller suppliers—you might get lucky.

SCAM SITE - knock off phishing site. Multiple businesses list at that address with an "F" rating from the BBB! AVOID!

Keep an eye on the classifieds reloading and components forum at least twice a day. I haven't actually been looking for primers but have noticed at least 3 occasions in the last week that members have posted where they were available. A warning for you is to be prepared to pay a high price.
Here's the first listing for primers that I came to TODAY and the price is less than others I have seen.

Paid $189 for those last year.

Ldigio21 where are you located? I have a few regular lg rifle primers in excess, bought about 10 years ago. Chris

I just checked my vendors, none had large rifle of any description as of 0600, plenty of small rifle and small pistol.

I bought 5k Ginex SRP several months ago and use them in my SRP rifle cases, Petersen, Alpha & Lapua 308 & Creedmoor. They work pretty well, I usually use CCI 450 and BR4 and still have those but I've been using the Ginex for playing around.

New manufacturing plant for primers in Arkansas…it's called White River Energetics
I figured it for a scam but took the chance and purchased a 1000. Received them in short order and they look good, I haven't tried them yet, but information I found said they are gtg.
Largest downside, so far, … cost!
