Labradar Question

I've tried to add shots to a previous list by pressing the "Arm" button, but it didn't work. On another note, if you want to delete a shot from a series (faulty reading) I don't think you can do it from the phone app. I also wish that the software app had some additional features. The Caldwell app is superior in that respect. You have the option to add a photo of your shot group to each saved group. And also has the ability to calibrate that photo and measure your group size as well as adding notes describing power info. I guess we can't have the best of both, but I sure wish Labradar would update the software/phone app.
Try Ballistic-X for group size photo

I have been able to delete shots from the iphone app. It takes a while for it to happen....like 30+ painful seconds and it is instantaneous when deleted directly from the unit's console.....but it will do it.
From this screen on my phone app, how do I delete this shot from the series? Do I need to have the Labradar unit on and paired to do so?

Yes Jim, the unit must be on and the device paired with it as the data is stored on the LabRadar itself. It can take a while and seem like nothing is happening but it should delete the requested shots or series. I have an inertial trigger and if I slide my rifle into battery in my rest it can false trigger the unit. I have used my phone app to delete the false recorded shot.

I was having problems with bluetooth and labradar app. I called labradar about a few weeks ago and was told that the brand new labradar app will be out in a few months. Hope that will be a lot of improving! Crossing our fingers!
That would be nice-- mine is really hit or miss on if the app/Bluetooth with work or not.

Unfortunately they have been giving that same reply for quite a few "few months" periods:rolleyes:

I have a lab radar as well and I never considered this. Would it be possible to combine the data in the Excel export file and merge the data from two series into one table?

thanks, I'll give that a try. 8K f/s was really a surprise.

I write down the shots in a notebook and then plug into excel when I get home. Can run avg, ES, and SD on whatever shots you want, and the formulas are easy for each of these. I do this as it is as easy as writing down which gun fired which shots.

I just us a separate SD card and copy the data into my computer. I have not tried different loads/guns and track which shot is which but you should be able to separate them and run excel to get average (=AVG() ). Max and Min (=MAX() and =MIN() ), and finally SD (=DSTDEV()

Follow up. Yep, I was successful in deleting a shot from a previously saved group. Nice to get some good advice and tips from fellow members. Thanks much Rardoin

Yes, easy to do if you know basic Excel (copy and paste basically)
From there you can create charts, add notes, attach shot images, and print out for you records.
If you add data from one series to another you do have to redo the formula for ES and SD. Easy but you have to know where to find formulas in Excel.

After I posted this, I saw your earlier post. Super simple, just have to work in a couple of platforms. I've been very happy w/what LabRadar can do.
