scrmblr, what I'm afraid of is that as a "LRH team member" they are going to come back and want me to bring my posts up to a "Higher standard". I mean it's almost like someone telling me to get my mind out of the gutter, when it is so warm and comfortable down

Given the characters (mostly DJ) on here, I'm not sure we could sink any lower with our standards. If DJ was our benchmark, contributors to this post would have to have at least passed the third grade, could count to at least 15, and married someone further on the family tree than a second cousin!

Speaking of djones, he should have been released by now! Probably out in the nearest bar, celebrating again, even though I'm sure that is what got him thrown into the slammer the first time. When he gets back, got a few more songs he can put on his first album, even though I know for a fact that his voice is like a foghorn!

Not sure that I even fit the qualifications you established, but will fake it for now! (BTW, what comes after 21? That's about all I can count, and that"s buck nekkid!) I think you are setting the qualifications a little high there. And we shouldn't be talking about family tree's! Some of my cousins started out looking like Daisy Duke and ended up looking like a vertical waterbed with eye's.

He's also freely associating with Pigs and concerned that they aren't going to get new Packrat tee shirts for the summer! I'm not going to get into his marital arrangement, whatever they are, but you know how Hillbillies are! Even California hillbillies. Didn't they make some kind of a series on people like him going to Hollywood? BUT at least he knows how to use a keyboard, unlike djones, and can sometimes use words of more than 2 syllables, but as long as he continues to shoot an occasional hog and post the picture, he's OK in my book!

Then we have Hatrick, who comes into the site, throws a hog picture out once or twice a week and tries to act like he's got his feces consolidated! Then he misspells his own name on the back of the boat that he uses as his identifier. 3rd grade education?.....Hmmm, yeah, based on what I've seen, those qualifications might be a little high for him! But again, as long as he keeps posting pictures of dead (or even live) hogs, he's more than welcome here!

When djones gets back, am going to hope he doesn't read the posts and thinks that I am helping run LRH from the "Team Member" banner by my name! He's liable to excrete his britches!....LOL.

Well, getting late here, so better get to bed, and in spite of all the moans and groans from LRH members, will be back tomorrow!

The only difference between hunting and poaching is who you tell. Either way the results are the same.
There was a question to count and amount,,,, You can kill as many as you have TAGS FOR!!! In the way back times when pigs were an epidemic you could kill as many as you wanted. Then some asshat with the F&G (fools and grabbers) decided they needed to know how many piggies were getting taken out so they came up with a FREE book of 10 tags so they could keep records. After all you don't want to completely wipe out the most prolific species on the planet. Next it was the money grab so they changed it to a fee for pig tags. Now with the typical money grabbing politician that run the greater peoples republic of calif***d a single tag is 22 bucks!

John, Glad to see you got a good lady! They are few and far between and know what you mean about having someone help you get where you are! Was married for 49 years before I lost her. They make all the difference in the world.

I see djones came back this morning in his own style, sarcastic, irritable and cranky. Must have served out all his time since I know he didn't get out early for good behavior. Maybe they should have kept him! He's probably just been missing out on female company, but don't know why, since Texas is one of the few places where a flock of sheep is referred to as a Harem! I see he posted his picture and it looks like he got new glasses while in Jail. Best he's looked in years! And I see he also got his teeth fixed while in there! Unfortunately his political affiliations are still behind the times! He probably doesn't even know the elections have been over for several years! Anyway, welcome back, so go shoot some Hogs!

Tucson rodeo just left town and while I went and watched, it brought back old memories. My one true life experience with the Rodeo, I was about 23 years old, Sergeant in the Army, was on orders for Vietnam, and decided I was going to try riding a bull in a Rodeo in Tacoma, WA. Was a whole lot nervous about it when I climbed on the bull, and just as the gate was pulled, some wise A** decided to goose the bull! The bull went straight up and since my right arm was out from my body, it came down on the top rail of the pen, broke my right arm between my elbow and my shoulder. My left hand was still tied to the bull, and while I let go, it was laced to the bull and almost got beat to death before I got loose. Bruised everywhere! Some cowboy was rolling on the ground laughing while they got me into an ambulance.

After being released the next day, I found out the guy was a Bronc rider from Oklahoma so waited til he was ready to ride, and before they released his gate, I goosed his bronc with a stick with a rag tied on the end soaked in Methyl Ethyl Keytone. Couldn't find any Kerosene in time! He ended up in the Hospital for 2 weeks. Went to see him and just looked down on him in the Hospital bed and said something like "Paybacks a bitch, isn't it" and then just walked out! I don't often get mad, but always get even!

Later got to feeling sorry for that poor horse!

From then on spent all my Rodeo time in the Bars throwing the bull and roping 2 legged heifers! Took up Sky Diving as a much safer sport!

Burning daylight, so got to go!

The first time I broke my arm was when I tried bull riding. I don't remember much other than slamming into the dirt and my arm hurting like hell. That was back in the early 80's when the used plaster instead of fiberglass for casts. Darn cast weighed a ton.

Scmblr, I think this was early 66. Left for Vietnam 1st tour, in July 66, so it was about 4-6 months before that and yeah, Plaster cast. Itched like crazy. The Army wouldn't deploy me until the cast was off and could do PT again from atrophied muscles, but at least my medical was free compared to the bronc riders!

Wow! Looks like I managed to PO everyone. Not a single post all day! Oh well, Feces Occurs! guess my LRH Team Member banner scared everyone off! That or my silver tongued comments!

djones, is still being socked in by the weather which is not normal for Texas and we've had a lot of strange weather here for Arizona. The snow birds are really irritated since they could have stayed home in Cesspool Flats, wherever, for this kind of weather! I've heard Canadians say they should have brought their winter clothing, instead of tee shirts, shorts and bikini's. The Canadian ladies are saying the same thing!

The funny thing about djones post with his new picture, and the other items, is that it seems like all the geeks from High School and College went out and made fortunes for themselves and the high flyers in school, dissolved into mediocrity!

Back to Hogs! Who's got hogs? someone has to have hogs out there, or at least a Elk, Deer or Field Mouse! Anything but a Packrat!

Yeah, but any Hogs is better than no Hogs! Kinda small, in fact, have seen bigger snacks at some of the local hunting club meetings. There are some BIG guys there! But is a start! I see the chains in the bed of the truck. Are those for the hogs, or are you still into that Bondage thing you went through a few years back?

Nice Picture! Strange looking group of BIG Hogs, must be a California Mutant! But then again, California is known for its mutants. Why you keep reelecting them to political office is beyond me. Some of them are so dumb, they could throw themselves at the ground and miss! And to be fair, I did ask for pictures of any animal. Just glad you didn't send pictures of some of the City Council in San Francisco! Besides, at $22.00 per hog, you've got to get your investment back! As far as being a "Red headed Stepchild", I checked my deodorant several times during the day yesterday, and today, went from no pictures, to a plethora of plenty! Unlike djones, whose baths are a yearly community celebration, I do keep up on personal hygiene!

Just took another look at djones new picture. DJ are you sure you shouldn't be posting that picture on the Beaver forum? Looks like you would fit right in! If someone asked you to do something, you could say "I'm game" and not be far from the truth!

If I had left the original line I typed on here, regarding Beavers, would have been thrown off LRH for sure!
