Been hunting since early 1960s. I have eaten a lot of lead birdshot. To be polite at the dinner table, I have eaten some lead bullet pieces, hard to be polite digging in your mouth of food for a piece of bullet.
I have had lead bullet pieces in me since '74.
Cannot see that the lead has caused me any problems. Or my father, friends, relatives or other hunters.
As for the Condors, if memory is correct, the problem was DDT that was killing them and harming the egg shells, not lead.
But, it is easy for gun, and hunting haters to make up facts that agree with the agenda they are pushing.
