I've been swearing to get those comparators machined out to .307" One of these days I'll get around to it.

I posted those numbers earlier in one of these bullet threads. They came from Hornady.

Aaron or anyone,
Are the overall lengths of the ELD-X bullets listed anywhere. I would like to run them through the Berger Twist Rate Calculator to check on the required twist for my area at basically sea level.

Does anyone know what the ogive is on the 30 cal. 212 gr ? Spoke with a Hornady rep. the other day but indicated he didn't have those specs.

I'm not sure what your question is but if you are wanting to know the length of the bullet in front of the bearing surface, based on all the info in this thread, I would guess .784".

I wanted to know if the ogive was a 15, 16,17 or the number that was calculated for the bullet. I am also looking for the ogive of the 6.5mm. 143gr and the 30 cal. 178gr I have reamer throats ground with different VLD bullet profiles in 6.5 and 30 cal. Just checking to see if I already have anything close to the profile of the ELD X. Thanks Boe
