Hammer Bullets

I had good luck with 124 HH in a 6.5 CM Tikka and 6.5 PRC C.A. Ridgeline . Haven't used on game yet. Didn't do as well in a 6.5 CM 28 in. Encore barrel .
Haven't tried in Weatherby Vangaurd 6.5 CM.

I've also had Excellent Results with the 124s at 2950 out of my CM.....DRT on many whitetail, hogs and antelope!

I was going to try on some lope does and Wt does here in the PRC and CM lasr year but with the move I never settled on a load . Ended up using 143 ELDX again... A Berger 140 in 6.5x284 on a doe lope also. This year is going to be my Hammer year hunting . 181 in 300 Rum. 124 or possibly 131 in above calibers . If time 143 I think it is I got for 7 mag . Maybe 144. Forget.

Yep, 6.5CM, 117gr Sledgehammer, 3060 in a CM, below max powder charge. Got my forever load for this rifle!

42.5 grains RL16, Nosler Brass bumped .002", Fed 215M, .030" off lands.

Never heard him say that. For sure with 300 rum and 7 rem mag but depending on powder with 6.5 CM and PRC ???

You use small primer huh ? None of mine I do. You both use RL16. That's promising . Thanks !

I've loaded for two different Hammer bullets so far. Used mag primers for both
Got good speed and good grouping in both.

I never caught that. I tried Fed 215 match mag primers in some loads in PRC with slower powders . Guess I try with all and in CM also. Thanks !
