I was on moose stand this year and a bear came in close and growled at me. The vegetation was thicker in early season 02 Sep and never did see him. I always keep my G20 in camp and on me while quartering moose. Not seeing him was worst than seeing him. I carry either the Redhawk 4" in. 44 mag or my G20 for 25 years in Alaska. Sure wish I could have seen him for a shot with the rifle.

The picture of the hunter with the Glock 20 was not me ! It was a self defense kill with G20 while he was recovering a bow kill moose in 2018. The bear had to be turned over to F&G.
