It looks like about 3/10th's of one percent difference which seems quit accurate for all three to me. What will be your go to if you can only take one? Or have you decided yet.

Definitely not the MS. Too much setup.

The BS is much less obtrusive on the rifle sitting at the end of the arca rail under the barrel. It requires an app to work while the Xero does not. I can't say which I'll use regularly.

I'm excited that it may work well with shotgun loads. There are few if any units out there that will give consistent readings for us shotshell loaders.
I did a BUNCH of shotgun velocity and pattern work years back with an Oehler 35 and I rarely had a shot where it didn't pick up the shot column, and very few failures to read. So few that I honestly cannot remember more than one or two and that was over a 2 month period of time and close to 1,000 different recipes. All 12 ga, and 2 3/4" shells, but it was everything from 1,100 fps 3/4 oz to 1,500 fps 1 1/2 oz. Activ had a mis-print in their loading book. They had 1 1/2 oz listed as 1,150 fps and it clocked 1,500 fps. I broke the remaining 4 shells down, double checked powder and shot weight, re-loaded 5 more and the next day I got the same fps. I didn't shoot any more (plus the pattern sucked).

I now have an Oehler 35 with the check screen. While it is a PITA to set up with 2 tripods, etc. it rarely misses a shot, shotgun or rifle/pistol.

"Was it MagnetoSpeed, Garmin, BS in that order from muzzle to target?"

Yes.
Thanks. That (to me) explains the difference in velocity. All 3 seem to be the same consistency wise, so for me it just boils down to ease of use and price. The capability of taking down-range velocity (for me) tips the scale a wee bit in favor of the Garmin.

I have an Oehler 35 with check screen and a Red Chrony. The Chrony gets used more than the Oehler just because of ease of set-up, but once it takes a dump I will be in the market for a new one. I'm liking what I see with the Garmin.

It would be nice if it could read velocity down range from a position near the muzzle, maybe that's something they can work on for an updated model?

You know, everyone talks about the labradar giving downrange velocity but I have yet to see how that's useful. Any BC figured from that isn't going be useful to any distance. You'll still need to true dope.
I agree, but the more data you can look at, the clearer the picture is. I can shoot to 370 yds behind the house but the 1,000 yd range is 1.5 hours away. The more info I can have before I start shooting at 1K the better I feel.

Seem to be a lot of talk about some guys wanting velocities at different distances. The nice thing with the Garmin is you can place it any place between your shooting position and your target ie 1000 yards out and get accurate reading.
I wondered if that would work?

Have you done it or know of anyone who has?

Would be a great youtube to get a compare vs. Lab Radar.

I haven't, but will at some point. I don't know why it wouldn't work since it triggers on motion. All though with the arc of a bullet at long range it might have to be within 20-30 feet of target for it to read.

A tale of priorities ...
I have a magnetospeed that I use ~4x a year, and shooting chrony for pistol (really dislike the chrony).
Ooh aah, new toy. I want it
I ponder the purchase for a second, mad money burning a hole in my pocket ..
Stopped off at a local shop, found and bought a cherry 1969 Ithaca 600 Magnum instead, for $150 more than the Xero.
Took it out this weekend and shot 150 clays. Ooh, me like!
I can already tell you which one would get used more if I had both.
Priorities...
Edit to add, I have a Garmin GPS running watch that I've had since 2006, and used it extensively for ten years. The battery finally gave out in 2021.
I trust their quality
You can send the watch back to Garmin and they will replace the battery and service the device. Not too expensive from what others have told me when they had it done.

Well from what I have read, it wont trigger as long as you are 5ft. from other shooters and its purposely designed to count only shots originating 15 inches or so away.

But, it will make an interesting experiment....Much easier for
garmin to update the software and design features?

Okay, I thought I read that it will trigger when a bullet enters its air space meaning radar/radio waves. Now as soon as it quits raining I'm going to have to try it.
