Flatline Precision 300 NMI’s

225 ELDM's with 84gr. H1000 and a CCI 250
A little stiff bolt lift. So going to shoot 83gr. next.

208 ELDM's also showed promise. First 4 were touching, then shot #5 turned it into a .8" group. Then shot 3 at 522 yards really quick for a 3.5" group. 88gr. H1000 was also giving me some bolt lift. So shooting 87gr. next.

I would have thought the velocities would be higher. My 300 PRC is getting 2871 average with the 225 ELDM 78.3 grains of Retumbo and 2956 average with the 215 Hybrid and 78.5 grains of H1000. Neither show any pressure signs. I am at 6X fired on the brass and the primer pockets are still tight.

Honestly this chamber just is not optimized for H1000. Just wanting to use it because it's so clean and consistent.

I was actually using brass that was fired in another chamber yesterday because I didn't have my personal formed brass prepped yet. Shot my own brass this morning and didn't see any pressure signs with either bullet.

May have just been a slight discrepancy between the two chambers giving me the bolt issues. I should know by now to only use brass shot in my own chamber, but I couldn't wait and already had the other brass prepped and waiting lol.

225 ELDM's have just shot the most consistently small groups and tightest ES. And if I really crunch the numbers, other than drop, they outperform the 208's past 800 yards. And nothing inside 800 yards will know the difference by getting hit by either bullet.

84gr. H1000 at 2950fps .37" 5 shot group last night. Going to set up some paper and test 84, 84.5 & 85gr. at 600 yards to see if there's a discernible in accuracy at any of the charges. 84gr. has absolutely zero pressure signs.

Your 100 yard group looked awesome. But I wouldn't be too happy with 4.5" groups at 600. Was the flier your last shot? In big guns like yours i let 3 rip pretty quick. And try and beat a condition change.

That actually was my last shot at 84, yes. I shoot 5 straight, but about 1 minute between shots. Just laying behind the rifle and taking a short pause between rounds. Don't know if it makes a difference or not. I just do it.
