Flatline Precision 300 NMI’s

Those groups you posted in the .2s could be tightened up a bit with narrower bullets...😂 Seriously, for a big boomer that is great.

Do you get any change in your zero or point of impact when you switch back n forth from the Atlas to the Phoenix? I've been looking at those for load work!
I haven't actually swapped them back and forth to check! I think it would be pretty similar since it the same mounting point though.

Haha you're absolutely right! Those smaller bullets seems to shoot tight a lot easier! But I'm learning that with the magnums, if you weigh them down a little, they're pretty easy to get to shoot consistently! This gun is 10lbs 8oz scoped and isn't too bad to shoot. My new build will be around 11lbs 12oz scoped and I'm really looking forward to that weight!

I have a 16lb 6.5 PRC and it seems to just hold itself with zero movement while you break the trigger. It's noticeably more steady on target prior to breaking the shot, and the groups reflect that. Best 5 shot group I'll probably ever shoot haha.

The 208 ELDM's just seem to want to shoot in this bronze 300 NMI. Tested them with H1000 today. 5 shots from 88-90gr. I was just testing them because I plan to shoot H1000 in my new build so I wanted a solid place to start. 90gr. was heavy bolt lift.

I'm settling this rifle on

208 ELDM
91gr. N570
CCI 250
3050fps

This gun with TI action has always shot super slow. But I'm also not chasing speed and pressure with this gun since it's for my buddy. He'll probably never take it to its full potential. So a nice, stable, extremely accurate load well below pressure will serve him well.

This was 3 shots, 4.5" at 1003 yards while truing the dope on his gun. It's a shooter for sure

Pre-Gaming for when the new NMI shows up.

Hopefully both bullets shoot decent, but one might show more promise than the other. I would be happy to hunt with either of these bullets, so I'm just going to shoot which ever bullet shows most promise from the get go.

88gr. H1000
CCI 250
215 Hybrid & 208 ELDM

I'll just start with them .020 off and I'm sure I'll notice a favorite. 4 foulers and two 5 shot groups of each, if need be, with a .020 difference between groups will give me a good baseline while getting the first 100 shots on the barrel and fully forming.
