Fierce vs Christensen Arms vs Springfield 2020 Waypoint vs Rem 700

I have a Remington 700 in 7mm Rem Mag. While I bought it a decade ago my shooting has been at 100 yards or less. It is now mounted on a Bell & Carlson stock. Now that I am back in Arizona I am wanting to up my game and start hunting out to 800 yards. Would I be better off getting a quality BC scope such as Huskmaw, Leupold, etc, or selling a kidney and getting a Fierce, Christensen Arms, or Springfield Waypoint and building from there? I also have a 1968 Winchester Model 70 in .270 that I am thinking of getting a better stock for and building up.

Advice?

I know some of you have had bad experiences with Christensen Arms, so I am not too hip on going that route unless something has changed with them since 2018.
Cholla, I thought Weatherby Vanguard 30-06 would be a good elk choice but surprised to see it weighs 7.5 lbs naked. No wonder your wife doesn't want to carry it!
My Sauer 100 30-06 weighs only 6.7 lbs naked and that is about as heavy as I want to carry.
I am a little worried about a lighter rifle than that with more power than 6.5 PRC. Lighter heavier kickers will be harder to shoot accurately out to 800 yards.
As everyone here knows, I recommend Sauer without reservation, but if you do go lighter than 6.7 lbs, better get a brake to go with it.
Everyone says recoil doesn't bother them, you can't get around physics or human physiology even though some won't admit it. This is your wife (your life) you are dealing with here.

When looking at the total weight of the rifle and scope, you may be able to cut some weight by getting a lighter weight scope. I went with a light weight rifle to be able to use a heavier scope. This still gives me a comfortable weight rifle to carry any distance but also gives me a scope that I love and is comfortable to use.

I have a rem 700lr in 7mag, with bell and Carlson stock custom bedded, it is a 26" threaded barrel with a banish30 gold suppressor. I added a trigger tech trigger and shoot a load of 65.5gr rl22 with 162 eldx at 3.398 col 3087 fps at 80 degrees F. Shoots pretty decent

I've had great luck with CA's.
I have a Mesa Ti 300PRC that has been broken in. Shoots great
Check the specs on their web site.
Shoot me a PM if interested and I'll hook you up.

IMO you could rebarrel your action and have the action trued for less than a new rifle. Either way you still might need a better scope?

Cannot comment on the others, but do NOT buy CA. I had 3 Ridglines, on 6.5 PRC and the others in 300PRC. Shot like Cr@p, Groups would be 14" at 100. Jammed all the time. As they heat up, heavy bolt lift, could not open bolt. I actually brought a rubber mallet with to the range. Returned 2 to place I bought them from for refund and the third, CA refunded my money. Had gone back to them 3 times for new barrels. Here are pics of the last barrel they put on. The 300, on the first 2 shots, brand new, I had 3 holes in the target. Being puzzled, I talked to Gary at Hornady, he said the jacket was splitting going down range. He said it must be a burr in the barrel doing it. Low and behold you can see 2 different defects in the groves of the rifling. Very disappointed as I did think the action and feel of the rifles was great.
