I don't even see it on their page? I was talking to the guys at cs bullets, I asked them why nothing bigger than a 140g they said noting bigger would stabilize with out a 1-6, so I dropped it.
CS Bullets?

6.5 saum gets my vote 140's at 3300+
Interesting post as I have given this lots of thought in the past. My decision was to have a 260 Rem. rechambered to 260AI. This in a Rem. 700 Mtn. rifle with a 22" bbl. Now this rifle has a short action and I load 130 VLD hunting Bergers. These will not fit in the magazine as I seat them .050 off the lands. This load shoots very well and has accounted for many antelope, whitetail deer, mule deer, feral hogs, coyotes and two badgers. I did purchase a Savage 111 LRH in 6.5x284. I am working up a load for 140 grain Bergers and Hornady SST and perhaps even 130 Accubonds. Whichever projectile shoots best at long range will be my go to hand load. To add, I have an XP-100R, 260AI, that sports a 14" Lilja bbl. that I load Sierra 107 SMK match bullets. These shoot well to 500 yds. plus. I will say they are adequate on deer sized big game. But, would not use on anything larger. I do indeed prefer the 6.5 for long range work. MTG
What barrel length?......Rich
