effects oftakingCollagen

I wouldn't believe a medical doctor if they told me the sky was blue. All they are is front and drug pushers for the big Pharma. They're not people of vast knowledge don't kid yourself. They've been trained to follow protocol and stick to the script. They don't think outside of the box normally, like I say big Pharma owns them. They are against any holistic or natural remedy because they cannot make money off it strictly money driven not health driven, MONEY! And most work for corporations and we all know corporations are against the people
I couldn't agree more.
Big pharma have been producing so called medicine for ages and as far as I know haven't produced a pill that cures anything.

I tried the powder every morning in my coffee for 2 weeks. Had the trots for the whole 2 weeks. Was burping eggs so bad my wife across the room was complaining. Knees did feel vetter, but not worth being on the pot all night.

Do the pills do that also?

I had 2 heart ablation in 2022 for Afib and atrial flutter. I was on xarelto before and after the heart ablutions which I found to have too many side effects including possible internal bleeding especially if you had a fall. After wearing a heart monitor twice last year and no signs of Afib, my heart surgeon who told me he'd take me off xarelto, backpedaled and wouldn't do it. I decided to take my own self off of it and did. 4 months later at my cardiologist appointment I explained my reasoning for doing so and fear of falling from a stand or downhill and possibly having internal bleeding. After looking at the monitor results and doing an in office EKG, he agreed with my decision to stay off xarelto. Sometimes you have to decide between the medication and the side effects yourself. The doctor is not going to do it for you.

Good for you! I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone just quitting a prescribed medication for something serious.
Side affects should be a major concern seeing that most medications have side effects but many times the doctor will prescribe another medication for the side affects and the next thing you know you're on a half dozen pills a day. Most Americans are on many medication's nowadays but when I look around I don't see very many healthy people. 🤔

I go to the VA for healthcare. And I would say my docs have been pretty good about natural remedies, if they feel they work. And have very few negative effects. They have given me the good & bad about their uses. And they have even made a few suggestions. They are older docs though. It did take me a little while to get them to realize I was not going to be taking cholesterol & blood pressure medicines. Just because the blood work considered me borderline high. I just recently lost my sister to liver cancer. Diagnosed one week, she died a week & half later. This is after seeing numerous Docs for artery damage where they cut off her toes on both feet. And she also had a few back & knee surgeries over the years. She was no stranger to Docs. But yet not one test or blood work confirmed she had cancer or diabetes. Not until the week before the realization she had liver cancer. This was upon ER admin due to back pain & not feeling well. The cancer was spread through her upper body, bones, and into her brain. I questioned the diabetes when they were cutting toes off years before. Because it runs in our family. She was assured no diabetes by a few Docs. Now all of a sudden it shows up after a gravely diagnosis of liver cancer. Just a few weeks ago she was running around driving & shopping. I sure do question some of the methods of their testing. I feel the diagnosis of both Cancer & diabetes should have been caught sooner. Not that they could have done much about them. But she surely was no stranger to hospitals.

I've been holding my results back from taking collagen. It's been about 3 weeks since I started it.
I haven't had any of the side effects that you had. If it seemed to be working for you I would recommend trying it from a different company. There could be a ingredient or two that your body doesn't like.

But I'm also taking Trulicity, could be the combination.
Not sure how long you been on the Trlicity but it does have some side effects such as you described. But they are usually at first from what I read. But perhaps as you said, introducing something new may have reintroduced these same effects. Perhaps smaller doses of Collagen at first would help. Then add as your body gets used to it. https://www.goodrx.com/trulicity/side-effects-of-trulicity

As long as you don't get it injected, you should be GTG!

Wow I'm glad you touched on this subject. So it really does make a difference. Does it help with a lack of energy ?
Addendum for M1A1 - have your testosterone checked. Many guys over 50 are a quart low. Mine was in the low 100's when a "good" range is 400-700. I'm back in range. YMMV and work with your doctor. If you go on replacement therapy, DEA will have a page on you if that matters.
I don't care for my primary care physician because she's such a flaming liberal. She has given me good advice, though. I talked with her about checking testosterone levels, and she started flooding me with info on research studies of the side effects of testosterone replacement. Her summation, "it's not the panacea that it's claimed to be." She recommended that I up my exercise and toy with my diet.
After months of small changes, and still not feeling like I had a full tank, I added iron to my vitamin mix. Holy crap, what a change it made. I never would have thought I needed it, as I eat a lot of red meat.
I've given up coffee, cut my bread consumption to maybe two slices per day. Sugar is the hardest to cut out. I feel much better than I did four years ago.
