Curious about the 7mm RUM..

Finding 7rum data is getting harder but the listed data from before should still be good.
I know they don't list it in the newer hodgdons load book so I think it's still available online
Here is online link to Noslers data on that round

Most of the other data is online.
Vihtavuori
Nosler
Berger
Barnes
You'll just have to check out each manufacturer for their data

My 7mm RUM is the best shooting gun/cartridge I have ever shot. I absolutely LOVE that cartridge. (I also own a 300 RUM and had a 375 RUM) I worked up an elk load with 175 grain Bergers and I get 1/2" groups at 500 yards. That cartridge will never be dead in my book.

The long one..
.. I searched the archives and found a few
threads on this cartridge.. Seems interesting .. What were the results of some of you all's experimenting.?? Is it really over bore.?? I saw there may also be some powder issues.. Dies are readily available.. What other problems have surfaced.?
..Second.. Is $693 a good deal on a new Rem SF in that cartridge.??
.. Thanks for any input.. JiNC

The only issue I have ever had is the bullets don't seem to stabilize until 300 yards and I get crappy groups from 140 grain and smaller bullets. These were chambered with a longer throat so heavier bullets work better.
