My 25-06 sendero sfII still needs to be put back together, but that is really my go to coyote gun for daytime stands. The 204 was put together for spotlighting and the 260 is for windy days:)

I like my HS precisions, but if I was going to go a different route I would buy a manners. Just like how they feel. Mcmillans are also really nice. B&C seem very similar to the HS precisions, so I may like those, but don't have much experience with them.

Either stock should work with quality going with the price.
Strongly consider a fast twist 6mm for dedicated coyote rifle. a 6x47 would be nice

Remington 700 LR in 338 Edge in came in a BC stock it's ok for a budget build not my first choice.

I think that a 270 Winchester shines as a coyote caliber. However, I've shot most of the coyotes I've shot with 06 while deer hunting. But The 270 is perfectly paired to coyotes. (Coyotes are the only reason I still have a 270)

I do not have a dedicated coyote rifle but sometimes my deer/antelope hunts turns into a coyote hunt.

This one met a 175 Matrix VLD at 525 yards with an MV of 2993 FPS out of my Savage 110 LA .270 AI with 30" Lilja 1:8" 3G barrel.

Which Manners?

Either the EH2 or EH4. Going to measure a stock on a gun at home...it fits perfect, and get the one of those 2 that fits close ...

Haven't completely ruled out the EH1..but ultimately it's going to come down to dimensions / LOP..
I'm stocky and have short arms..hard to get a gun to fit me alot of times

Getting a custom rifle built. Accumulating parts as we speak. Build is either going to be a 6.5x47 lapua. or a 308 win. Decided to build off of a rem 700 short action; debating long and hard over going premium vs Bell and Carlson... I have a B&C on my little 204 and have been very pleased, but since this is a custom build considering splurge even more. Going to have a jewel trigger with a brux barrel. Going to be topped with a Leopold optic of some nature.

Going to travel out west this winter with my buddy..ducks in the am, coyote in the pm . Will post pics as she comes along. Not ordering stock for 2 more weeks when I get paid again

I use a Rem 700 in 270 win with a Grayboe Outlander stock. 130 gr Ballistic Tips, 0.01 off the lands, 60.5 gr H4831, CCI 200 LR primers. The target below is a 4 shot group at 100 yards while working up that load after installing the stock.

If I recall correctly, the guy who started Grayboe is the son of the founder of McMillan and managed McMillan for a while prior to starting Grayboe. You can find Grayboe stocks on line at various merchants for much less than the msrp on the Grayboe site. IMG-0785.JPG IMG-0794.JPG

If you are now considering Manners.....
An EH1, EH2, and three PRS2 stocks are in my safe. My coyote rifle is whichever one I have at the time I see a coyote. But when I go out specifically with a bolt gun, it is either a 6CM or 6.5SLR.

This is the 6CM in a PRS2.

The trio of 220 swift are my go to for coyotes. Have a Remington 700 VS in the back, a Ruger M77 200th year of Amercan Liberty edition in the middle and another older M77 in a tiger stripe maple stock in the front.

And when I'm not saving fur or in a tournament I go to the little sako .243 with a 20" Christensen barrel shooting the 87gr Vmax.
