Gentleman, I cannot say how amazed I am, I wish I could thank each one of you in person, I was able to meet and spend some time with Jerry of J E Custom going over the rifle, and just chatting about shooting some. I can't wait to give yall a range report, and hopefully put it to use on some game in the near future.

I know a lot of people made sacrifices to put this together, I assure you it will be cherished by me and my family for many years to come.

Wow Kevin! That looks really great! It looks like Jerry did an awesome job. All the guys on this forum that donated, and offered to donate, have something to be proud of. We feel that you are a very deserving candidate, as Is Predator22's dad. His will be done before too long as well. I wish we could have built for all 4 candidates as it was nearly a dead heat in the voting. On the other hand, our plans were to build ONE and we doubled that thanks to the kind and generous people on this forum. I personally feel blessed because of it. I will post more on the donors when the other project is completed. Please keep us informed as you use the rifle. It should be a real shooter!gun)

I have a set of Weaver 30mm rings, they are low hieght rings, not sure if they will work or not. Was going to look and see what a good base and rings would be.

Has it been decided where I should send the 6.5mm bullets I donated ? Let me know and I can send them out next week sometime, and as I mentioned before I can substitute/mix with 7mm bullets as well, I have plenty of both available

That turned out great! I can't wait to see the one my Dad is getting. I don't know how much brass Rich sent you but if you need some more I have some new winchester 270 brass I can send you. Can't wait to hear a range report!

Thanks for the offer, I got 21 cases with my dies, and a couple more with the rifle, all Norma. I think I may stick with the Norma brass cases for consistency. Will probably just pick some up here and there, until I get about 75 or so. Thanks again for the offer though!

I have PLENTY of WW and RP brass I could send but just about out of Norma right now. I bought too much SS brass$$$$$

Well I am not brand picky, was just thinking that it might be good to stay with one brand for consistency? Also need to read up on what to do to make the brass into Sherman brass.

I can help you with that; it is easy. If you want the other brands I will send some. They work fine with some sorting and measuring but not the quality of Norma.

Well scratch the brass from this end. I just went out and looked all over before I realized I gave it to someone last year. All I have is some plated WW brass, and I don't recommend it because I am afraid of it flaking off and ruining the barrel. I think there was someone else who had brass, so if there is, maybe they will read this and respond?

This is what I misunderstood, sorry for the confusion.

The 270 brass needs to be neck turned, or is that the 280?
