Would the 25 creedmoor shoot heavier bullets well? Anything over 125 grain.

Yes 133 and 134 shoot great in mine

Depends on the Twist Rate. Sure it can shoot 133 & 135 Bergers with a 1:7 or 1:7.5
PRS Shooters are going to the 25 Creed and 25X47 with 135s.
Hope Hydra6 chimes in. He is shooting PRS with a 25X47 and will know much better.

Yes, 25 Creedmoor with fast twist barrels shoot 131, 133, 134, 135s at hunting rifle speed and can be slowed down for PRS style competition. I am shooting 134s in my new 25x47 but loaded "slow" for PRS - 2690fps. My 25x47 will go faster but I choose not to for PRS.

I've had quit a few flavors of 25 cal, my match rifle is a 25cm moving at 2975… laser beam..

Hunting rifles I have couple 257AI, they r prolly my favorites. Couple 25-06 and 1- 25-06 AI that I haven't really messed with any.

25 SAUM was a smoke show… took it to a mile a couple times. I got it up to 3400fps with R26 and 131 Black jacks but it was hard has hell on primer pockets. I backed it down to 3250 and it ran great. Barrel burner for sure.

Out of all of them the 257AI is my favorite, was easy to load for and shoots 110 accubonds great.

Roy Weatherby killed a good number of elk with the 257 using 117g factory bullets which is an ornx bullet. A good friend used his 257 on elk. After killing 6 bulls, he had his 7th hunt booked and that guide told him that the 257 was not an elk round. So, he bought a 6.5/284, and he hated that round for elk, which I am talking hated!

I haven't followed the Oryx bullet too closely but I was of the opinion that they haven't been around for all that long. Maybe 20 years or so?

Always thought that the 117 in the 257 Wby factory ammo was the Nosler Semi Spitzer?

Just a 25 Souper. If faster go with a 25X284.
Now if you want a SA with more speed -then a 25 Souper AI???
Still intrigued with a 25 WSSM. We helped out a few LRH members years ago with the 25WSSM and they had some really very good shooters!

And 2830 with the 133 berger H4350
