At What Yardage Does Long Range Begin?

Lets just never forget that we us long range shooters, hunters and killers all started from ground zero. Most would not even believe how we shoot is even possible. Not our problem.

To me long range starts @ 500 yards. I love my fellow long range shooters and killers, we are a breed all to our own. God Bless gun)

Long range starts when you have to account for conditions to place a kill shot. A 30 MPH gusting wind could make a normal chip shot distance challenging.
