Like I said I will never use that bullet again. Heard good things about the ELD M, but I will keep that at the range.
I never felt that I was asking too much on a 250 yard cow. I am also well aware that you can't ask a bullet to behave at any range.
This was an overstated velocity factory load at 250 yards, not 50 yards or 150 yards.
Hunted pronghorn with the 180 Scenar and penetration was stellar, at 109 yards! Chest shot facing me.
Keep using the ELD X but for me there are way too many better bullets out there.
