Took the new 6.5-06 to the range today. This were the first three shoots with a load I just grabbed out of thin air.

After getting it zero'd I moved out to 600 yards. I did take a couple shots to verify the dope then shot three consecutive shots at the 6" gong.

I only have about 30 rounds down the pipe...I'm super pleased with the way it shoots without even doing a load work up!

This is more of an assembly than a build, but I just put this together for my dad.

Tikka T3x CTR in 260 Remington. Burris Veracity 3x15x50, Seekins rings, Piercision self timing brake, misfit machine scope throw lever, burris level. We are going to try and get it to the range this weekend.

shoots great with 123 Hornady sst using 42gr of varget. Gives me almost 3000fps.
Also nice grouping with 143 eldx, but MV drops to around 2500-2600 using rl-17 and IMR 4451

shoots about anything I feed it. Specially accurate with 143 eldx and 147 eldm. I feel it's a little slow @2980 FPS using the 143's and 2900 using the 147's.

will shoot almost anything. It likes Berger 140 hybrids a lot, as well as 100gr A-Max, 143 eldx and 147 eldm. I squeeze 2830 fps with the 147's using RL-17

Like the 338's. First one is a Browning A Bolt on a Pendleton adjustable stock under a Nightforce SHV 5-20X56. Bottom picture 338 Edge Lilja 32" finished barrel, Hart break, Kampfield bolt knob, Nightforce 5-20X56 SHV scope. Just purchased a Curtis Helix action and ordered a Benchmark 30" finished 338 Barrel, got more to buy for another 338 build by Tanner Doherty at Eastern Oregon Cerakote and Gunsmithing.
