Thank you, Sir! Yep, I did the 'sponge job' myself. Admittedly, I had to ask my 16 year old step-daughter to assist in matching the acrylic paint to the Blue Titanium Cerakote. She mixed it...I painted it. Was a good 'bonding' moment for us.

Added one a while ago. 12fv on sale. Put a crappy Cabela's scope on it so I could put my Nightforce back on the win mag. Burris xtr 25moa rail. Did some work to a Bell and Carlson varmint tactical to make it fit nice. Grand total in the whole thing is $800 and it shoots stupid. 109 yard group.

My latest is not completely a build. I bought the 6.5 Creedmoor ADL Tactical two days ago. I changed the trigger to a Rifle Basics, and replaced the stock with a McMillan Gane Warden I had that was pillar bedded. First target with three shots are the first from the rifle with factory loads. Walking it in close. The next target was two shots (all I had loaded) with Speer 140 Gold Dots. Abd a pic of it now.

6.5-06 Richards dual grip thumbhole in Purple Sapphire laminate.

6.5-06AI Black and brown. The stock is a Richards dual grip thumbhole in grade A Claro walnut. Done maybe 20+ years ago. The barrel is a newly installed Hart and the finish is Birdsong Black T.

If you're rifle system puts down a group like that, I'd say that wasn't too crappy of a scope. I'm still evaluating one of these optics, on a mid cost build, and it does what it's supposed to.
