Real funny.... Goose season ends Sunday. I may do the same ! Lol !I got up early the other day and noted the temperature to be a BRUTAL +18deg. Rolled over and pulled the comforter over my head. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr LMAO
Yes . Block heaters . Good batteries. Fuel additives and starting fluid if needed.I've gotta wonder - for you guys in the upper mid-west (or Canada for that matter); what do you do to your vehicles so that they start when its well below zero? Block heaters?
Seriously ?We got some snow also......but, you have to look pretty hard to find it! memtb

Hard on batteries I think. Ford recommends 0 and below. I like the heater working quick with pre warmed engine. I don't like freezing steering wheels either ! Lol ! Gloves...I don't use a block heater on my Cummins until we hit a -20 F or below! She does just fine! memtb
A little bit of a stretch.....we had nothing until the last week or so. We've got about 2" "stacked-up" now! I actually had to sweep the sidewalk today!
I just took a photo of the accumulation on a table.....which hasn't melted off over the last several weeks. More than I thought, but that is about 2 weeks of accumulation. memtb
