If I had to guess, 150-200 fps slower than the 338 Lapua. 20 ish grains less powder and alot less recoil & muzzle blast.

Both are way more than we need for our hill country white tail... but ****, that 338 looks like a lot of fun for still having your pants on!

It's turned into a fun little project! Gotta love it when they come together like that. It will get really interesting when I get my 338 suppressor for it too.

Probably going to have to go test seating depth now then...

Checked 77/78/79/80 gr again and nearly identical results as before. Load development with 225 Accubonds + H4350 done , couldn't ask for much better than that!!

Next up I'm going to do a little testing with the new McGuire Ballistics 338's! Somewhere along the lines I need to test some 250 SMK's too. The hard work is done, so now I can go tinker a little bit more "just because" .

Definitely made my day! I'd be plenty happy with 3/4-1 moa on a bad day too. Never hurts when they stack though!
