I would have to agree with you. I don't like fireforming cases. My Edge shoots 300 Bergers at 2887 with a super low ES. Since late May I have been recording every shot I take at LR with the various LR rifles I own. I have a .338 Lapua built on a Stiller action (McM stock, Blake barrel) that is super accurate but the huge diameter of the Lapua case means single stack mag that protrudes.

But right now, if I had to take a long shot, I would pick my 28N - 195s at almost 3000 fps drift the same in the wind as the 300 Berger at almost 2900.

Hello all - I'm gathering up everything for a 338 norma in my SRS. trying to filter through all the info. First barrel will be for target shooting - so if length and weight were not a huge concern would it be worth going to the 30" range in like a 9 twist or would the stock 26" 10 twist from Desert Tech do everything just fine? Thanks
