For hand loads I have used a few bullets in .308 Win and .30-06. From 125 grain to 180.
Current fav hunting bullet in my 30-06 is a Hornady Interlock, a simple 150 grain flat base soft point. They shoot tight (sub moa) when I do and they flat out work well.
Hunting Bullets I have used and like in .30 (125-180 grain), no particular order:
Hornady Interlock (125, 150, 165gr)
Hornady SST (125-150gr)
Hornady ELD-X (178 gr - no critter experience yet but like what I saw on paper!)
Sierra Game King (165, 180gr)
Sierra Pro Hunter SP (125, 150, 165gr)
Nosler BT Hunting (125, 150, 180gr)
Nosler AB (125, 165gr)
Nosler Partition (165gr)
